The District Conference Committee have lined up some fantastic entertainment for those who attend the Conference in Forster on March 20 to 22.
For those who arrive on Thursday 19, there will be a barbeque at Club Forster. Everyone is welcome to attend. This is where you can also register for the caravan competition.
On Friday 20 March, the entertainment after dinner will be 60s music, which will also include a special vocalist who has has the 60s beat. The aim of this night is to enable you to have fellowship fun with your Rotary friends, as well as, meet Rotary International President Gary C.K. Huang's personal representative, Past District Governor Kamal Sanghvi and his partner Sonal in a relaxed atmosphere.
Saturday night will be hosted by District Governor Gerard McMillan and partner Yvonne Palmer. The entertainment for this evening will be provided by "The New Zips".
After 30 years of award-winning performances, 6 Mo Awards, 6 Ace Awards, tours with some of the great artists including Tina Turner, Del Shannon and The Stylistics, The New Zips were born.
Tony Hogan originator and front man of this highly successful show teamed up with close friend Morgan Kent. Individually they are great, the two together are dynamite. Add keyboardist Glenn Magson, drummer Graeme Fisher with Joe Travis and John Coker, the result is spectacular.
Morgan Kent’s uncanny impersonation of Rod Stewart has to be seen to be believed. He honed his art performing on cruise ships as a standup comedian. Hogan’s rich warm vocals gives the best of Neil Diamond, Roy Orbison, Jimmy Barnes, Elvis and even Cher!
This six-piece line up is a must at the District Conference, so make sure you are not only attending the Conference, but have booked in to the Saturday Conference dinner. See you there!
