The Rotary District Conference is an excellent opportunity to share experience with others who provide "Service Above Self". This years Rotary District Conference, titled "Waves of Change, Oceans of Opportunity, will be held in Forster on Friday 20 to Sunday 22 March, and it is getting closer.
There are some superb speakers lined up for us all including:
Andrew has a degree in Economics and Law and a Masters in International Law. He will cover topics like "Live an Authentic, Fulfilling Life", "Walk of the Matador", and "Leading to Inspire and Transform".
He is no stranger to District 9670. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Wauchope, and has attended several of our events in the past. Neville was recently appointed to the Board of Rotary Down Under. I am sure that his message will be inspiring to all of us.
Paul has over 20 years experience in Change Management, Emotional Intelligence, Training and Development, Executive Coaching and Quality Conversations.
Dr Bassil is a Senior lecturer at Macquarie University in the Department of Modern History, Politics and International Relations. However, his lectures mainly consist of Politics and International Relations. Dr Bassil holds a position with the Middle East and North African studies at Macquarie University.
Col. Lowe is an active serviceman from the Australian Defence Force Academy, Royal Miltary College, and an Australian Command and Staff College graduate. As the centenary of the Gallipoli landing is approaching, it is very fitting to have someone attend.
Registrations to attend the Conference must be given to PDG Alex McHarg by Friday 13 March. The actual Conference is free to attend, however, you must pay for the meals if you eat.
We look forward to seeing you at the Conference: Forster Tuncurry Memorial Services Club (Club Forster).
