The Group Study Exchange (GSE) teams for both District 9670 (Outbound) and District 1900 (Essen and Dortmund and is in the south western part of Germany) (Inbound) have been announced recently.
 
The inbound team from Germany will be lead by Rotarian Karl Raab, a retired High School teacher. He is a member of the Rotary Club of Gevelsberg.
 
The other members of this team consist of:
* Jana Haase (Department head at DIGeFA, a laboratory for grain and fat analyses)
* Katrin Schroeder (Master in Athlectics, working as a rehabilitation therapist)
* Anna Schewe (Psychologist and head of the HR talent development department at HELLA, an automotive supplier for lighting systems)
* Felix Harms (Bachelor in Business Science and Management, has worked as Assistant Sales manager and is now member of a commodity sales training programme at ThyssenKrupp)
 
The team are due to arrive into Sydney, late on the 7th of March, and will be hosted in the first instance by the Rotary Club of Toronto Sunrise.   
 
The team will remain in the district until Easter, before heading home. 
 
The outbound team from District 9670, will be led by Rotarian Birgit Smith from Rotary Club of Mudgee, and includes:
* Usman Bhatti (sponsored by Rotary Club of Charlestown); Immigration lawyer, HR manager
* Karina Keeton (sponsored by Rotary Club of Newcastle Enterprise); Local lands officer
* Jessica Orman (sponsored by Rotary Club of Greenhills-Maitland); Dietitian
* Jessie White (sponsored by Rotary Club of Lake Macquarie); Sponsorship Coordinator
 
The team have met and completed their orientation, and have also taken steps to master the art of the German language, intending to deliver presentations in German throughout the exchange. 
 
The outbound team departs Australia on May 30, finishing up their exchange in late June.
