The District has recently said farewell to Charlotte (Charlie) Wheatley - a delightful young lady from District 1070 in Oxfordshire, UK. Charlie is pictured with her work colleague and her host family.

A big thanks to the Rotary Club of Nelson Bay, who hosted Charlie during her stay, while she undertook Research work at the Fisheries Research Facility at Port Stephens. A special thanks goes to her host family Doug & Jenny Craike.

Applications are currently open for outgoing candidates aged 18-30, and all we ask is that they have undertaken some training towards a vocation and are prepared to commit for a minimum of 2 months and up to 6 months vocational or humanitarian work.

If your club would like to know more about the program please email Brian Oakley  ngse@rotary9670.org.au
